Gbenga Ayeni is a Houston based Nigerian multidisciplinary artist, he utilizes the disciplines of drawing, painting, graphic design, film, photography, sculpture and installation. Since moving to Houston he has been active in the local art scene and has contributed to a variety of community programs. Ayeni has demonstrated a history of service for the community through his commitment to artistic production, offering expertise, and engaging with the community. His creative work has been recognized by local, regional, and national artistic professionals and cultural organizations. 

Ayeni is a purpose-driven artist, his mission is to change the narrative of Africa by telling authentic stories through his art from an African perspective. He has a deep appreciation for African art which is reflected through his work. He’s committed to using his talents and abilities to tell the story of Africa on the global stage.
